Peter & Erin’s Wedding-One for the Record Books!

Just how many times, exactly, were Erin & Peter’s guests surprised during their incredible reception at the Irondequoit Country Club in Rochester, NY? Oh, let us count the ways…

Surprise #1: As guests arrived to enjoy cocktails and socializing, they were greeted by the tropical sounds of a steel drum band

Surprise #2: As cocktail hour concluded, the doors were opened to reveal the ballroom

Surprise #3: Our “Signature Style” introductions created energy, fun and lots of laughter!

Surprise #4: We took a moment to recall just how, exactly, this had all come to pass. Erin’s reaction as we remembered Peter’s “Mission Impossible” proposal…

Surprise #5: As they shared their First Dance, guests were stunned to realize the vocalist on the recording was (drum roll please)…the bride!

Surprise #6: One of our all-time-favorite wedding moments transpired next. In order to maximize time for dancing later, we facilitated some special moments during dinner. As Peter and his Mom shared their Mother-Son Dance, you could feel the tension in the room as the song began to skip. We apologized profusely and immediately went to our “back up”… which was national recording artist Bob Halligan performing his song “Thanks” …LIVE! It’s hard to believe, “but wait…there’s more!”

Surprise #7: As dinner concluded it was time to celebrate their Cake Cutting Ceremony…and cousin Brian’s 13th birthday!

Surprise #8: We shift everyone’s attention back to the heart of the ballroom, where Erin and her Father share a special moment, followed by epic choreographed craziness!

Dance floor fun was then had by all…

Surprise #9: Erin & Peter decided this would be no ordinary Bouquet & Garter routine, but you probably already knew that. In order to help them accomplish what we call the “Mary Poppins” dress stunt (as in “how did she hide all of that stuff, including an ENTIRE GOLF BAG, under her dress?”), I’m hiding underneath the DJ table handing Peter items one by one. Anything to promote the cause!
